Rune magic

You are in a workshop, about to begin a lesson with your mentor. Your mentor is a rune magic expert. You wait for a while for your mentor to come out, but your mentor doesn't come out. [[Wait longer]] [[See why your mentor is occupied]]

You wait for a while, then get bored, so you start playing around with your runes. [[Start playing with your fire rune]] [[Start playing with your air rune]]

You go into your mentor’s room, There you find your mentor’s desk in disarray. You explore the rest of the room finding quite a lot of damage. [[Investigate further]] [[Tell the villager elder]]

You take out your fire rune, and combine it with a projectile rune to give it a form. Then you combine it with some activator dust. The runes flash and produces a deadly spray of fire balls which fly across the room. Fires spring up everywhere the fire balls land! [[Try and douse them with your water rune]] [[Cover them over with your earth rune]]

You pull out your air rune and blow on it to active its magic. You start creating gusts of wind and tornadoes. You decide it is boring to just play with the wind. You want to fly using the wind, you run outside and prepare your air rune and a few others. You fly high into the sky and after a while you decide this is better than living normally and you want to fly forever. (text-style:"sway")[THE END]

You sift through the ashes on your mentor's desk. There you find a map with burnt edges, a compass, and your mentor's favourite lucky travelling charm. As you touch the items, you feel flashes of magic and realise all of them are inscribed with runes. You pick up the map and examine it. Your mentor's notes are scrawled messily on sticky notes stuck to the map. You smile with nostalgia as you remember how messy your mentor always is. As you take a closer look, you see that your mentor chartered two courses: one to a place called Second Flowers, and another to Devarian. [[Second Flowers]] [[Devarian]]

You tell the village elder. The elder sighs gravely, "I knew she would get herself into trouble sometime soon. Go to the east then you should find a town called Second Flowers. You should find your mentor there." [[Second Flowers]]

You go into the town of Second Flowers, where the villagers greet you with baked goods and warm hugs. As you walk further through the town, you spy a paddock full of sheep. You go into the paddock and the sheep look round at you. You suddenly feel like you have made the biggest mistake of your life. (text-colour:red)[(text-style:"tall","rumble")[The sheeps' eyes blaze red]]. The sheep stampede towards you, roaring, long fangs dripping with saliva, and they tear you apart. You wander through the town of Devarian. As you are wandering along an alley way, six thieves leap out at you holding katanas. You step back, one hand reaching into your runestone bag. But a figure leaps off a roof and lands a kick on to one of the thieve's heads. Springing off them, the figure launches a flurry of blows downing three more of your attackers. The last two thieves' katanas spark with electricity as runes flash across them. The figure vaults into the air and hits both thieves with a whip of electricity conjured from their hand. The figure lands beside you and pulls off her mask. With a gasp, you realise it is your mentor and your first words are: [[Are you a ninja enthusiast?]] [[What an earth's been happening?]]

"Yes, I am", says your mentor. And you say: "can you teach me those moves?" Your mentor nods her head. "I will teach you how to do every crazy ninja move if you help me bake cookies". (text-style:"emboss","rumble")[THE END]

Your mentor says casually, "oh, just trading with some demons. Im meeting them for dinner at The Bloated Pig". You ask Banoffee for desert? Your mentor nods her head smiling. THE END
